After making his big-screen debut in 2018’s Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, Miles Morales has now received his own solo game starring the young hero. The new Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales Costume gives players a variety of options for the hero as he swings around Harlem.
Aside from a red and black color scheme, the Miles Morales Costume has five different suits that players can unlock as they complete various side missions. One of those is the Red Spectre Suit, which adds a hood and accentuates Miles’ new hairstyle. Another is the Encoded suit, which ditches most of the red coloring in favor of a more techy look.
The Beginner Suit meanwhile brings Miles back to his animated origins, where he was a student at Brooklyn Visions Academy. Finally, the Gold Miles costume is inspired by his uncle’s antihero character, The Prowler.
In a recent post celebrating the milestone, developer Insomniac showed off Miles’ new look in all its glory. The outfit resembles the Beginner suit, but it also comes with a backpack that contains a cute cat named Spidey. This little buddy will follow Miles on his missions, assisting in combat finishers and adding a new level of fun to the game.
Insomniac previously released the first suit, a more traditional version of Miles’ look that the hero brought with him from the Ultimate Universe to the Marvel Prime Universe as part of the Spider-Verse event. The second suit, the Beginner Suit, is a more casual take on the superhero’s look that includes a baggy sweatshirt and sneakers.
